Ok, so I watched my first full episode of Glee that other night, more by accident or through laziness than desire. It also happened to be the last episode of the season, which in my opinion was not a bad thing. All I could think of during the whole episode was how self indulgent the whole thing was. I mean how many people around the world are living subsistence lives? How many people are living among the rubble of bombed cities, and how many children are starving in Africa right now? How can we spend the amount of money we do on indulgent crap like this, when so many people around the world can’t even get clean drinking water?
And another thing, I was totally shocked this week to hear that New Zealand was among the group of countries that abstained from voting on a non binding resolution making safe drinking water and sanitation a fundamental human right. What a sad bloody world we live in when that is even up for dispute!!!
The Mentalist is one of the best shows on television. Not just because of the plot lines, but because Patrick Jane is totally cool and wears the best suits on television. Anyone who wears 3 piece suits is totally ok by me!!!!!
Long live the 3 piece suit!!!!!
